What does emotional wellbeing mean?
Simply put; Emotional wellbeing is a state in which an individual is comfortable, healthy and happy with life satisfaction, a sense of purpose, and how in control they feel.
Emotional health is an important part of our overall health. We believe that when we are emotionally healthy, we are in better control of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. We are better able to cope with life’s challenges, keep problems in perspective and bounce back from setbacks.
At Mesh4Minds, we believe that Emotional wellbeing should include some important factors that can enable a person measure their overall Emotional Health.
These Factors can include (but are not limited to):
  • having self-esteem and self-respect.
  • being able to recognise and express feelings.
  • being able to manage emotions to suit the situation.
  • recognising and managing the factors that affect emotions.
  • feeling positive about life (which includes feeling useful and being optimistic about the future)

We support emotional wellbeing by offering one-on-one counselling, group training and activities as well as self meditation and our innovative SPACE Programme.
